Pilots Private Viewing - April 2026

This April, we marked International Pilots Day by bringing together pilots at the boutique, across fighter and commercial aviation. It was an evening shaped by conversations around flying, watches, and the stories that connect the two. The MACH 1® collection, built around Indian aviation and the people behind it, was experienced by those very individuals in a way that felt both personal and complete.

Team at Bangalore Watch Company presented a dedicated showcase for the pilots, taking them through not just the MACH 1® collection but also other watches inspired by modern India. Guests spent time at the boutique engaging with the watches, asking detailed questions, and stopping by the watchmaker’s desk for a brief movement demonstration, where they saw movements being taken apart and assembled.

Designed as an experience centre rather than a conventional retail store, the boutique is a place to slow down, try on the watches, ask questions, and understand the stories behind them. The space includes a customer lounge, a podcast nook, a watch masterclass room, and the main display area, each shaped to encourage deeper engagement with modern Indian watchmaking. The pilots did exactly that, spending time across the space, interacting with the team, and experiencing the watches up close.

What made the evening stand out was the perspective in the room. These were individuals who live aviation every day, engaging with a collection built around their world. It reinforced what happens when watches are rooted in real stories; they carry a different meaning when experienced by the people who inspired them.

The evening came together through the efforts of the BWC team, bringing the space, the stories, and the people into one room. It was a natural extension of what the boutique is built for, a place for conversation, learning, and a closer connection to Indian watchmaking.
