BWC at Geneva Watch Days 2026
Geneva Watch Days brings together some of the most respected names in watchmaking, alongside international media, collectors and retailers who shape how the industry talks about watches. In 2026, Bangalore Watch Company™ attended for the first time. It was part of a bigger goal we've been working toward this year: building a stronger presence beyond India and being part of the conversations that take place at events like Geneva Watch Days, Watches and Wonders and Time to Watches.
Geneva Watch Days 2026 was our first time attending, and it turned out to be an important step in that direction, not long after our own first-time appearance at Dubai Watch Week 2025, where we hosted our first meteorite watch masterclass for an international audience.

Building on International Media Relationships
Over the years, we've been fortunate to be featured by publications and platforms such as A Blog to Watch, Monochrome, The New York Times, Forbes India and Teddy Baldassarre. Geneva gave us the opportunity to take that a step further by meeting some of the people behind these platforms in person, understanding their work more closely, and thinking about what future collaborations could look like.
We also spent time at the main Geneva Watch Days pavilion, observing how established and independent brands presented themselves and engaged with media through the week, and visited Watchmakers United, a Geneva and Monaco-based platform for independent watch brands. It was a useful look at how other independent watchmakers approach their international presence and opened up the possibility of BWC having a presence there in the future.

Our Private Gathering
One of the most meaningful parts of the trip was a private gathering we hosted in partnership with Europa Star. It brought together a strong group of international watch journalists, editors, industry professionals and well-known names from across the watch world.
Founded in 1927 and based in Geneva, Europa Star is one of the watch industry's longest-running publications, covering watchmaking news, trends and the business of the industry. Being headquartered in the city gave us a chance to meet the team during the week and talk beyond any single feature, thinking about how that relationship could continue as we grow our presence internationally.
It also gave us the chance to put a couple of watches close to our recent story in front of the room: Forty Seven, our newly launched pocket watch, and Peninsula Carbon, currently longlisted at GPHG 2026. Having both pieces in the room made for good conversation starters and gave guests a chance to see, up close, the two different directions we've been building in this year.
Getting the brand into international conversations isn't only about securing coverage, it's about building relationships with the people who shape those conversations.

Looking Ahead
This was our first Geneva Watch Days, and it felt like a starting point. Our goal has never been to simply show up at these events but to be considered alongside other independent watch brands on the international stage, recognised not only as an Indian watch brand but also as one with a genuine place in the wider conversation.
To everyone we met in Geneva this week, thank you for your time. These are relationships we intend to keep building, and we look forward to continuing this journey at the events ahead.
